ABOUT DAVRAZ
Davraz Mountain, with a peak height of 2635 m, is one of the mountain masses rising in the Lakes Region of the Mediterranean Region, between Eğirdir and Kovada Lakes, and surrounding the Isparta Plain. Davraz Mountain-Karlıyayla Winter Sports Tourism Center is located 26 km southeast of Isparta city center. It was declared as a Tourism Center on 17.02.1995. It is 8 km away from Çobanisa Village, the nearest settlement. The Ski Center is located on the northern slope of Davraz Mountain in Kulovası Plateau. The area of the Ski Center and its only important stream is Ardıçdibi Stream. The dominant vegetation consists of pine, juniper, cedar and herbaceous plants. Davraz Ski Center has a distinct advantage due to its proximity to Antalya and its location suitable for development. The geographical features of Davraz allow other nature sports besides skiing. Mechanical Facilities The ski center has 2 chair lifts, 1211 m long, which can carry 1000 people per hour, and 936 m long, which can carry 800 people per hour, as well as a 624 m long chair lift (T-Bar) that can carry 800 people per hour, and 2 baby lifts of 300 meters each. The first chairlift, which is 1211 m long, has chairs for two people and starts at 1674 m and ends at 1961 m. The second chairlift, which is 936 m long, has chairs for two people and starts at 1961 m and ends at 2150 m. With the 624 m T-Bar, which is the 3rd mechanical facility of the Ski Center, it is possible to ski from 1961 m to 2150 m. Mechanical facilities are operated by Davraz Mountain-Karlıyayla Winter Sports Tourism Center Management and Infrastructure Service Association. Tracks: You can ski at the Ski Center with the wonderful view of Lake Eğirdir. Davraz Ski Center offers safe routes for beginner skiers, with the softness of the natural texture and excellent snow quality, and unique tracks reaching an average of 8 to 10 km for professional skiers, where they can ski to their heart's content. The altitude of the ski slopes varies between 1650 m and 2150 m, which can be reached with existing mechanical facilities. Additionally, there is no danger of avalanche or getting lost, which is a great advantage for skiers. Davraz's tracks offer all amateur or professional skiers the opportunity to do northern skiing, alpine skiing, touring skiing and snowboarding. There are a total of 12 tracks in the Ski Center. The total length of 12 tracks is 23,500 m.
